Here are answers to some of the most common questions about weddings at The Heron Country Club in Brentwood, Essex, from guest numbers to ceremony options and catering.

If you need anything more, our friendly team is always here to help and guide you through every step.

How many guests can you accommodate?

The Garden Room comfortably seats up to 60 guests for your wedding breakfast, with space for up to 60 guests in the evening. For larger celebrations, we can also host weddings in a marquee overlooking our beautiful grounds.

Can we have both our ceremony and reception at The Heron?

Yes, we are fully licensed for civil ceremonies and partnerships, so you can host your entire wedding day in one location. You can choose to marry inside the Garden Room or outside beneath our wedding pergola.

Do we have exclusive use of the venue?

Absolutely. You will have exclusive use of the Garden Room, private decking, and garden, allowing you and your guests to enjoy the day in complete privacy.

Is catering included in your wedding packages?

Yes, all of our wedding packages include catering. Our menus are tailored to you, from a three course wedding breakfast to relaxed dining options such as barbecues or buffets, all prepared by our experienced kitchen team.

Can we customise our wedding menu?

Of course. Every wedding is unique, and our team will work with you to create a menu that suits your tastes, style, and dietary requirements.

Unfortunately we didn’t have the weather on our side and it had to be kept in doors it was still such an amazing day and everyone said how much they enjoyed themselves. If you want to get married this is highly recommended from us “The Colliers” ❤️

I recently photographed Emma and Mihir's celebration here and was incredibly impressed by the layout and atmosphere of the Garden Room. The oak-beamed interior is elegant and spacious, but it’s the transition to the private terrace and lawn that really makes it stand out for a photographer.

The outdoor space is perfect for a relaxed drinks reception, and the views across the golf course provide a clean, scenic backdrop for portraits. Inside, the modern styling and great lighting made it easy to capture the energy of the evening party. The staff were professional and ensured everything flowed perfectly from start to finish.
